Tom

Age: 6 years

Gender: Male

Size: Medium

Location: Serbia - Mid May Arrival

HISTORY: One of our volunteers came across Tom, a Serbian hound, on the streets. After checking he didn't already have a microchip or owner he was taken in to foster care. Once found it was apparent Tom had a previous injury to one of his front legs which set back into place of its own accord. We had the vet take a look at it and he said that as its an old injury and does not bother him, he still has full use of his leg, it does not need surgery.

IDEAL HOME: Tom is a marvellous placid boy that is already house trained. He gets on well with other dogs but would do just as well being the only dog in the home. He could live with a dog savvy cat BUT will chase if cat is unsure. He is sociable with both adults and children. He walks nicely on lead.

HEALTH: Tom will have an additional health check before leaving Serbia. He is a medium size pure breed. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea, wormed and neutered.

FOSTER: Tom is in foster care in Serbia. He is due to arrive in the UK mid-May.

CRITERIA: We adopt our dogs to an area in England within a 3-hour drive of Cobham in Surrey. The garden must be secure and have at least 6 ft boundaries.

If you feel you can offer the right home and you match our criteria, please complete our pre adoption form here: https://serbias-forgotten-paws.com/enquiry and press SEND.
Home check and £400 adoption fee applies plus £25 for the safety harness that we insist all of our dogs are walked on until absolutely settled in their new home.

All of our dogs come with a pet passport, are vet checked before departing and arrive via a DEFRA registered transportation vehicle.

Serbia’s forgotten paws has been operating for over 10 years and has rehomed over 1,200 in the UK.

We offer full support and rescue back up (RBU) for the lifetime of all of our dogs.
