Baba (Bug)

Age: 13 years

Gender: Female

Size: Medium

Location: Swanley, Kent

Baba or Bug as her foster family call her spent her first 12 years in a shelter for her whole life so has understandably taken a bit of time to settle in the a home routine. She is looking for a home where they are willing to give her plenty of time to settle and not give up on her with her quirky ways. She may pace initially until she settles into a routine. At night time she likes a nightlight on and can be fearful of fireworks/loud noises at night. She has been left for a couple of hours with no issues, after the initial settling in period. She is looking for a quiet home, with or without other dogs. She sometimes plays with her favourite doggie friend but would happily live as the only dog. Due to her age her back legs can at times be a bit wobbly so she is not a dog for long countryside walks. A good size garden to lay out in and a short potter about where she can have a good sniff around would be enough for her. She is on joint aid suppliment. Walks well on the lead. She would make a great little companion for someone who would be willing to spend the time just letting her be and come round in her own time. She can be shy with new people but we’ve found she will just take herself off to her safe place (crate) and come out when she’s good and ready and gets to know you.

  • Can live with dogs
